🚨 Back in stock!
A professional-grade action wrench designed for precision rifle assembly and maintenance. Born out of the frustration of not finding a reliable solution, we engineered our own. This tool mounts to any standard 3/8″ drive extension, providing a simple and secure method for torquing your action housing to 75 ± 5 ft-lb.
Usage Note:
Refer to the “Top” label on the socket and align it with the top rail of the action (see photo). Proper orientation ensures easy removal, as tight clearances can make extraction of socket difficult in other positions.
Instructions:
-
Apply nickel-based anti-seize to barrel threads.
-
Hand-thread the action onto the barrel.
-
Install the socket on a long 3/8″ extension and insert into the action with “Top” aligned to the action’s top rail.
-
Gently seat the action wrench into the lugs — no heavy force required.
-
Attach a torque wrench set to 75 ft-lb and tighten the action housing.
-
Remove socket and extension — press the release button on the left side of the action if needed.
-
Enjoy your completed barreled action.

Great alternative to the aero wrench not being available. The fit and finish on this is excellent, easy storage and doesn’t take up hardly any room since it is just a socket. Fast shipping as well, can’t wait to see what they come out with next!

Why are not all action wrenches designed like this!?! No more hauling around 3lbs of action wrench. Please expand the lineup for Rem700, Tikka, etc… I would collect the whole set!

Guys you all hit the ball out of the park with this action wrench socket. This is how all barrel removal tools should be made!! It locked up solid in the action and broke the barrel loose with ease. I didnt know a barrel swap could be so easy.
If you ever make one for Bergara actions i will be buying one of those to!!

Thank you so much!! Stoked it delivered what you were looking for! We are working on a few more tools, including a Zermatt socket, time to add Bergara to the lineup! Thank you for the feedback!
