Running your Stribog suppressed? The Rokin Precision 35 degree locking block is a drop-in upgrade for the Grand Power Stribog SP9A3 and A3S. It changes how the bolt unlocks, to cut down the recoil and the gas you feel when you shoot with a can on. It’s a direct swap for the standard US-spec 45 degree block.

We dialed this block in on our own SP9A3 with an Exigent Rico 309 suppressor, testing with both 147 gr and 165 gr loads.

35 Degree vs 45 Degree Locking Block

The standard US-spec Stribog uses a 45 degree locking block. Our 35 degree locking block is built for suppressed shooting: the 35 degree angle changes how the bolt unlocks, to reduce the recoil and the gas you feel with a suppressor on.

It’s made from 4140 steel and matched to the hardness of the US-spec 45 degree block. Want to go back to 45 degrees? The swap works the same in both directions.

Fits

  • Grand Power Stribog SP9A3
  • Grand Power Stribog A3S

Key Specifications

  • 35 degree locking angle, marked “35” on the end
  • Made from 4140 steel, matched to the hardness of the US-spec 45 degree block
  • Black oxide finish
  • Laser-engraved Rokin Precision logo
  • Tested on a Stribog SP9A3 with an Exigent Rico 309 suppressor, 147 gr and 165 gr ammunition

Installation

No tools required.

  1. Make sure the firearm is unloaded: magazine out, chamber checked.
  2. Remove the bolt.
  3. Remove the roll pin.
  4. Swap the 45 degree locking block for the Rokin 35 degree block.
  5. Reinstall the roll pin and the bolt, then function-check before shooting.

Usage Note

The black oxide is an outer finish layer. Some areas will polish off where the block contacts the bolt during use. That’s normal wear and doesn’t affect function.

Results vary with your host gun, suppressor and ammunition. If you have questions about your setup, reach out before ordering.
